AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S SCHOLARSHIP
(Established 1994) One scholarship is to
assist an adult woman continue a higher education. A second scholarship is
available to a graduating Junction City High School senior.
JERRY BROWN COMPANY SCHOLARSHIP
(Established 1988) Scholarship awarded to an
outstanding Junction City High School graduating senior with a 3.5 average
GPA or better. Should be a well-rounded person who is involved in school
and community activities.
COUNTRY COACH
PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP
(Established 2001)
Scholarships to graduating Junction City High School seniors. One
scholarship is intended for a son or daughter of a Country Coach Junction
City employee. If an employee’s child does not apply, the first
scholarship like the second, may be awarded to any graduating senior who
qualifies. Suggested fields of study are diesel tech, welding, paint and
body, computer assisted drafting, auto tech, aviation, refrigeration/air
conditioning/heating, or RV tech.

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP DONATION

Earnshaw Scholarship will be given to an outstanding science student
with a emphasis in medicine either veterinary or human medicine. The
student can be pursuing either an under graduate or post graduate degree.

Academic & Leadership Scholarship
(Established in 2004)
Scholarship is available to a JCHS Graduating Senior who has been a noted
leader in a leadership position. The student must have a high-GPA and
plans to attend a 4 year college.
SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF
JUNCTION CITY
(Established in 2002) Scholarship to a
man or woman who has successfully completed one or more years of college
with a GPA of at least 2.5. Applicant must present a plan of study (not to
exceed 250 words) with a personal statement of goals, which includes
participation in activities: school, civic, work and/or volunteer.
Applicant must present letters of recommendation from non-relatives.
Applicant must show proof of full-time student status (enrolled in at
least 12 hours) at an accredited institution.
STROME-FISHER FARM SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 2001) Scholarship awarded
to a Junction City High School graduating senior who wishes to continue
with agriculture or an agriculture-related field as a career.
Qualifications include: minimum two years active FFA involvement,
participation in other school community activities, and summer employment
in agriculture or an ag-related field. The selected scholarship
recipient’s application requires review and approval by the contributors.
TRI-COUNTY NEWS SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 2003)
Scholarship available to a current-year Junction City High School graduate
planning to major in journalism, photo-journalism or publication graphic
arts at a four-year college or university, community college or art
institute; with preference given to applicants who have worked in the high
school publications program.
LEE CHASE CROSSMAN SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 2003) To a
Junction City high school graduate, preferably with a science-oriented
background; minimum GPA 3.5; first preference to a student pursuing a
medical professional degree.
SCANDINAVIAN FESTIVAL
ASSOCIATION SAINT LUCIA SCHOLARSHIP FUND
(Established in 2002) The
application process and criteria for the Saint Lucia scholarship differs
from other Education Together Foundation scholarships, although an ETF
board member serves on the Festival Association’s selection committee.

(Established in 1998)
Scholarship awarded to a graduating senior or continuing college student;
preferably one interested in agriculture, business, or music.
HOWARD GIBSON FAMILY ENDOWMENT
Established in 1996)
Scholarship awarded to an outstanding graduating high school senior who is
involved in school and community activi-ties, who understands government
structure and political systems, and who shows promise of succeeding in
earning a college level degree in the agriculture or business field.
Ideally, the recipient has succeeded in the FFA on the parlia-mentary
procedure team. The recipient must have a minimum GPA average of 3.2 and
minimum SAT scores of 900.
STARNS FAMILY ENDOWMENT
(Established in 2001)
This scholarship should be awarded to a person of integrity with a
determination to pursue additional education be-yond high school that will
improve their likelihood of success.
BETTY PITNEY MEMORIAL
ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR L.C.C.
(Established in 2001) Consideration is to be given first to an adult woman 19 years of age or
older, seeking education or returning to Lane Community College; secondly,
to a graduating Junction City High School senior woman who will be
attending Lane Community College. If no one qualifies in the above
categories, it may be awarded to any Junction City High School graduating
senior who will be attending Lane Community College. Involvement in
community and school activities, especially FFA, music and drama, will be
considered.

(Established in 2000) Scholarship is available to any Junction City High School graduating
senior or Junction City District resident desiring further
education/training.
COMMUNITY MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT

Scholarship is available to a senior who has attended
Junction City High School for at least three years; preference given to a
student who recently experienced the death of an immediate family member;
minimum GPA 2.5 (3.0 GPA if more apply).

(Established in 2003) To a
senior who has attended all four years at Junction City High School who
plans to attend a community college or technical school; preference given
to a student in need if need is known by committee.

SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 2002) Scholarship
awarded to a Junction City High School graduating senior who has a 3.0 GPA
and who plans on attending a four-year college or university with a major
in business or accounting.
GARY BUTLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 1992)
Scholarship awarded to a Junction City High School graduating senior who
participates in high school athletics. Other qualifications might include
an active, athletic lifestyle, and a desire to work with children in the
future.
SUSIE IRWIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 1991) Scholarship awarded to a Junction City High School graduating senior who
exhibits the following qualities: enthusiasm, determination, ability to
inspire, well-rounded person with varied interests, responds positively to
challenges, deals positively with obstacles, demonstrates school spirit,
and shows an interest in and a respect for others.
JIM PAULL MEMORIAL FUND
(Established in 1998) To assist Junction City School District residents or staff with
educational opportunities.
JIM HIGGINS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
(Established in 1995)
Scholarship awarded to a Junction City High School senior with a minimum
of two years of active FFA membership that includes FFA leadership
involvement, with an emphasis on communication skill. The recipient must
have a minimum GPA average of 2.5. A major in agriculture is preferred,
but not required.
JUSTIN MOORE MEMORIAL FUND
(Established in 1998)
Scholarship is available to a high school senior involved in sports, one
season or more, preferably soccer or basketball, with a 2.5 to 3.5 GPA.
Preference will be given to a student who has attended Grades K-12 in the
Junction City school district, and/or is from a single parent home.

(Established in 2001) Scholarship awarded to a graduating senior or continuing college student.
MICHAEL T. DUBROWA MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP
(Established in 2003) Intended
to provide a Junction City High School graduating senior with a
scholarship award in order to continue their education in the field of
social sciences or the pursuit of social justice.
