This wonderful view of Junction City was taken around 1890 from the top of a grain elevator. The view is above Front Street, looking west towards where Hwy. 99 would be built. The large church-like building in the upper center is the fire hall, located where U.S. Bank is now at 6th and Greenwood. Across the street you can see four false-front buildings which are still standing today.
